Revelation 8
"I
hereby sentence you...."
No one likes to hear these
words. It evokes fear, loss and separation from loved ones; and,
either jail time, punishment or the death sentence. In the context
of our Revelation study, there is a similar proclamation in
chapter 22:11-12, when the Judge of the Universe makes a solemn
announcement that seals the fate of all on the Day of Atonement
from Heaven's Temple: "Let
the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person
continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do
right; and let the holy person continue to be holy." "
Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to
each person according to what they have done."
What have you done? Have you placed your
trust in Yeshua--Jesus,
the righteous Judge? Even during the most
devastating time of human history when hatred will increase
exponentially, will you determine to live by faith in a
committed relationship
to
the Son of God? Our Messiah once
said, "Whoever acknowledges Me before others, I will also
acknowledge before My Father in heaven. But whoever disowns Me
before others, I will disown before My Father in heaven.
"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the
earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword,"
Matthew 10:32-34. These are hard words to hear, but the truth
is always spoken by the Righteous Judge. The last days ahead demand obedience to Yeshua and the words of
His Book, particularly the warnings in the scroll of
Revelation.
At THE END may each of us either be standing in Heaven's
Temple under the canopy of God's care, or sealed for
protection as the trumpet and vials plagues are poured out
on the disobedient masses. Life and death decisions will be
ours to make
in the trial period ahead called the
appointed time. We are the last generation; and, faith, hope
and obedience are at the core of our last-days experience in
Christ. There will be no middle ground, and no compromise.
Keep
Looking Up!
