Meet Kevin Swift
Kevin was born in 1956 in Springfield, Missouri,
while his father, Russell D. Swift, was attending Bible Baptist College. As a
minister's son, Kevin was taught the Scriptures from childhood; however,
in his late teens he began his own adventure into a personal relationship with
Jesus and a fuller understanding of the Word of God.
About 20 years ago, Kevin began to delve into the prophetic times and
events of Daniel and Revelation. Merging the two books into one, an
end-time chart emerged which Kevin believed
followed the chronological pattern of Bible prophecy. He first presented
his findings, which would later be improved and expanded, at a Prophecy Seminar in Michigan
in January, 1991. A couple of years later, the importance of God's
Festivals in relation to final events became clearer. Comparing the
timelines to God's Festivals, it was discovered the end-time chart fit between the holy days
over a 3 1/2 year span. Knowing that
God's Festivals shift on the Gregorian calendar from one year to the next, Kevin
knew the match could not be a mere coincidence. What has emerged is the
Appointed Times & Seasons
Calendar that you see today.
Kevin has taught prophecy
in Adventist, Baptist, Church of God, Nazarene, and non-denominational circles,
while his online resources have been viewed by thousands around the globe. He continues to enlarge his
ministry through the worldwide web, a non-denominational resource that
encourages the study of the Hebrew prophecies of the Bible. Kevin has written 30
lesson guides on Daniel and Revelation called Insights
in Prophecy, which connects the ancient prophecies to modern-day events, and
produced the book Appointed Times
& Seasons Calendar: Divine Dates of End-time Disaster & Deliverance--available
here and through Armageddon Books. He has served several
years on the board of directors of the Topeka
Rescue Mission.
Kevin was owner/photographer of a portrait
studio from 1986-1992 in Topeka, Kansas; since then, he has been a RE/MAX REALTOR®.
Kevin and his wife Brenda have seven children between them, and nine
grandchildren.
