A Personal Message From Kevin
Swift November 2008
I believe the coming of our Messiah is very near, and that Bible prophecy will soon become
one of the
hottest topics around the globe. As students of prophecy and followers of
Christ, it is our duty to have answers to the many probing questions that will
be asked as our world plummets into international chaos. Millions will soon
face death without knowing the Savior, and during the final days many hearts
will be turned towards God.
Are you yourself ready to face the great trial that precedes the
coming of Yeshua, our Messiah? Please
prepare spiritually
now for the overwhelming deceptions about to overtake the planet. Also
consider the
physical needs of your family. I have an informational link to
help you called Family Survival.
It is time to store a few supplies and prepare for disasters. You need to prayerfully consider leaving
the larger cities to move to a rural setting where you can grow food as needed
and find safety from gangs and crimes that are bound to increase as our
society disintegrates into chaos.
Evidence is mounting that
stupendous earth-changing events are nearly upon us. However, God provides
hope through His prophetic predictions, promising on His good Name that He
will finish His work and usher in His everlasting Kingdom. With this, we can
live with high hope and eager anticipation of a better day. It is our
duty to be a strong advocate of hopeful thinking! God provides that hope.
Consider these four signs the last days are
near...
First, the world is bent on evil
and a growing tolerance of sin in all of its forms. There's little difference between the body of believers and the world,
although the church sees itself as rich, increased with goods, and in need of
nothing (Revelation
3:17). I speak from personal
conviction in review of my own life, and the natural bent of the human heart to
compromise where God has clearly spoken.
"Mark this..." Paul wrote,
"there will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of
themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to parents,
ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control,
brutal, not lovers of good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure
rather than lovers of God--having a form of godliness but denying its power [to
change the heart]," (2
Timothy 3:1-7). May God help
each one of us to live with the conviction that overcoming is God's plan, and
not be found in the sin list above. The new birth and a victorious life is the
power given to us by God's Holy Spirit through faith. Yes, we all
struggle to live for God; we find ourselves "doing what we didn't want to do".
But now, today, is the time to sell out for God and to give Him our all... our
whole heart.
Second, the political landscape
is moving, full-speed, towards global government. From the United Nations to the
worldwide web, the world is reuniting once again in one language in pursuit of a
new world order. In the fall of 2008, the US and global financial
landscape began to change dramatically to the worst. A full-blown global
crisis is very near, which will bring the world's economies in line to the
prophetic predictions of Revelation 13. Added to the bleak financial
future, tragedies of war and natural disasters will escalate, bringing about
massive and sudden destruction around the globe. Fear will crescendo as
any semblance of peace
plummets. Unity will be seen as the only answer to what will seem the
annihilation of mankind, and in response the global community
will align under one religious/political leader. The prediction is given, "All the world [will] wonder after the beast"
(Revelation 13:3),
who will rise in miraculous power to reign for "forty-two months" (3 1/2 years).
Third, the growing incidences of
spiritualism--apparitions from demonic sources are being seen in
hundreds of locations around the world. We are forewarned, "In the latter times
some shall depart from the faith [of Jesus Christ], giving heed to seducing
spirits [who make themselves visible before the eye], and doctrines of devils,"
1 Timothy 4:1. Christians are,
by no means, exempt from the demonic visitations and devious deceptions about to overtake our
planet.
Fourth, the recent insights into
Daniel's prophecies--visions that were promised to be unsealed at the time of
the end--are now being understood as never before: "O Daniel, shut up the words,
and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro
[in the unsealed scroll], and knowledge shall be increased [concerning the
prophecies],"
Daniel 12:4.
Our Personal Response
What should God's people do in response to the
soon-coming King?
First, we need to understand
God's Word and Bible prophecy for ourselves. Won't you personally take the time
to learn about God's plan for the end of the age? The Insights In
Prophecies Series is one avenue for study. Don't relegate this to your minister, priest, rabbi or
teacher. It is our individual responsibility to study to
show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the Word of truth (
2 Timothy 2:15).
Second, we need revival and
reformation--a rallying call for spiritual leaders and believers
to awaken from spiritual slumber with renewed determination to live a dedicated life according to God's precepts. The responsibility for holy living
begins with each of us individually. We need to look into the mirror of our own
lives before judging others. John eloquently wrote that
everyone who "has this hope in Him [of Christ's appearing] purifies himself,
even as He is pure,"
1 John 3:3. We must
strive with God's help to live a sanctified life, with balance and integrity.
If voice of reason will not move us towards Christ and a life of righteousness,
then perilous events which loom on the horizon certainly will cause us to stop
and listen to the Holy Spirit's voice.
Third, I am
asking you to please join me by helping this ministry to spread like the
leaves of autumn God's end-time prophecies and His spiritual roadmap along
with the everlasting gospel of His Kingdom to those in need of hope. This is
a matter of life and death for millions. The masses need to know that
we have the
promise of a better City, whose builder and maker is God, to replace the
worn out and distressed cities of this planet. Jesus noted about the
last generation, "because of the
increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm
to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the
whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come... Do not
let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. In My Father's
house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there
to prepare a place for you [the New Jerusalem]. And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where
I am [in Heaven],"
Matthew 24:12-14;
John 14:1-3.
I want to be part of that rare group of
men and women who will stand firm, even to the point of death, to find
ourselves in the Temple of God near the throne of God. This group does
not represent all the saint of all ages, but rather a select group of Temple
workers "who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed
their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they
are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in His Temple,
Revelation 7:14-15.
Will you join me on that great day?
I hope so. By God's grace and guidance, by trusting in the LORD hour
by hour, day by day, we will stand firm to the end and meet together at His
Temple. What an honor it will be there to serve in the most sacred and
marvelous location in the universe... the Temple of the Most High, in the
very presence of our Creator! Just hand me a broom...I'll gladly be
the janitor.
We Must Have
Answers
This NASA satellite photo of Israel is a
unique view of the land that has been the center of the spiritual controversy
for centuries. From a great distance it seems but a dry wilderness, but we
know that when we
get closer we find a land teeming with people and activity. Jesus
humbled Himself, descending from Heaven's throne 2,000 years ago to the womb of
a virgin, to be born in the land of Israel to meet with mankind personally and to reveal His Father's
love. In the end He died a martyr's death so that we might find life, and
the way to a better country and to the city who's builder and maker is God.
However, before we reach the New Jerusalem a
wilderness journey must, of necessity, be traveled. Long ago the people of Israel
entered this dry
wilderness land, and in like manner to them, our travels will either harden us or will purify, refine and
make spotless our compromising hearts (Daniel
12:10). Most of us
will be unprepared for the trials and persecutions that our families will face.
For the most part, we are not accustom to hardship and struggles. However,
the Word of God reveals, through the Hebrew Calendar, a three and one-half (3 1/2) year pathway through the perilous tragedies of the appointed time
and to His eternal kingdom.
Wars and global catastrophes will soon spike
with an overwhelming surprise, and with it waves of panic and desperation.
This, in turn, will hasten inquiries by neighbors, friends, relatives and work
associates who long for answers and reassurance about their future. The
answers are found only in a personal relationship with Jesus our Messiah and a better understanding of end-time events
portrayed in the books of Daniel and Revelation.
Sharing in your hope,

"The LORD bless you
and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the
LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace,"
Numbers 6:24-26 NIV
