A Love Story Between Messiah & His Bride

The First Miraculous Birth

Genesis 17 shares the story about the father of the nation of Israel -- Abram and his wife Sarai, and how the LORD appeared to the 99-year-old Abram.  The LORD, said, "I am God Almighty... I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and I will multiply you greatly," (vs. 1-2). The story continues, "God said to Abraham, "I will give you a son [Isaac] by her [Sarah]... and she will produce nations."  Abraham fell facedown. Then he laughed and said to himself, "Can a child be born to a hundred-year-old man?"  Of course, Abraham already had a son by Sarah's maidservant Hagar, whose name was  Ishmael -- thirteen years old at this time; however, he was not the chosen one -- rather Ishmael was Abraham's attempt to fulfill God's promise of a great nation because of his unbelief.  As a result, Ishmael's line (the Arabs) would became Isaac's (the nation of Israel's) arch enemy from that day forward; and, down through the centuries this bad blood would cause the great conflicts of the Middle East between Arabs and the Jews that continue yet today. We can be sure that Ishmael (Arabs) and nephew Esau (Palestinians) will strike back at his brother Israel (and Jacob) as the end times begin. At the center of the conflict is Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, and control of God's chosen Most Holy place.

Despite their initial doubts, Abraham and his wife came together in their old age and Isaac was miraculously conceived. This extraordinary conception and eventual birth perpetuated the natural blood-line of God's people, which developed over time into the twelve tribes of Israel. Through the nation of Israel the Scriptures were written and delivered by the chosen Hebrew prophets; however, of greater impact we know God's Son Yeshua was delivered at the appointed time by natural birth as the spiritual Savior of mankind through Abraham's lineage. This too was a miraculous birth by the virgin Mary, without human seed and through the power of God, that bridged the physical birth of Isaac and his descendants to the spiritual birth of a great nation at the end of time.

For this article will focus on the book-end births -- the miraculous natural birth that began the Semitic lineage (Abraham's son Isaac), and birth of the natural nation followed by the spiritual nation as the Kingdom of God comes into focus. The Gentile nations of the earth have been blessed by the children of Abraham and their descendants, through which came the birth of Yeshua at Bethlehem; and, we will be exceedingly blessed in the future by the King's return and the birth of a great Hebrew nation made up of all twelve tribes (Genesis 18:18).

  The Second & Miraculous Rebirth

The prophet Isaiah writes about the rebirth of the natural Israelite nation in 1948 and the birth of a spiritual or holy nation at the end of this present age. They are no less miracles and are directly connected to the birth of Isaac long ago.  Isaiah 66:6-11, 15-16 says..."Hear that uproar from the city [Jerusalem], hear that noise from the temple! It is the sound of the Lord repaying His enemies all they deserve.  Before she [Israel] goes into labor [Jacob's trouble], she gives birth [first, to a man child – Yeshua; followed by the natural]; before the pains come upon her [of the last days], Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor [of the last days] than she gives birth to her children [for all Israel will be saved -- Romans 11:25-27]Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the Lord. “Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?” says your God. “Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, For you will nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; you will drink deeply and delight in her overflowing abundance.”  This prophecy in parallel foretells Messiah's Bethlehem birth, followed eventually by Israel's rebirth as a physical nation in 1948) and the holy nation (144,000, of all twelve tribes), which will emerge at the end of time – just before Messiah establishes His eternal Kingdom at God's appointed times and seasons; the period referred to as the Time of Jacob's Trouble in the Scriptures.

"These are the words the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah: “This is what the Lord says: Cries of fear are heard — terror, not peace. Ask and see: Can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor, every face turned deathly pale? How awful that day will be! No other will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he [Israel] will be saved out of it. “‘In that Day,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘I will break the yoke off their necks and will tear off their bonds; no longer will foreigners enslave them. Instead, they will serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them... I am with you and will save you, declares the Lord. ‘Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished,'" Jeremiah 30:5-9, 11.

As noted, this end-times salvation of the people of Israel is restated by Paul in the book of Romans: "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: The Deliverer will come from Zion; And this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins,” Romans 11:25-27

This all-inclusive salvation occurs during a period of global troubles that will last three and one-half years, followed by a short but intense 40-day period -- the "time of Jacob's trouble".  Matthew 24:6-8 marks the beginning of the three and one-half years symbolized as "birth pains" such a pregnant mother would feel during labor, involving a series of national and global disasters -- strife, wars, earthquakes, pestilences and hunger. The catastrophic events will be so devastating that many will think it to be the end itself, but that will come later, Jesus says. "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."

The Mystery: Disclosing the Past -- Foretelling the Future

The Ancient 100 Year Oracle

Abraham waited a lifetime as an aged man to conceive the promised child, but in God's time He initiated the miraculous birth of Isaac and the nation of Israel, which came to fruition when Abraham was 100 years old as revealed in Genesis 17 (plus, the 9 months he grew after his own conception in his mother's womb). This brings into view the great conflict between Ishmael (Arabs) and Isaac (Israelis). And, we are told...  "These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come," 1 Corinthians 10:11.

The Modern 100 Year Oracle

In November 1917, the rebirth of the physical nation of Israel was conceived through the Balfour Declaration. This British Declaration initiated the idea of splitting Palestine between the Israelis (Isaac's lineage) and the Palestinians (Ishmael's lineage) and re-ignited this ancient-old conflict that began in Abraham's day between the two brothers -- Ishmael and Isaac. The Israeli Palestinian Conflict is at the heart of Middle East turmoil, which is about to explode onto the world scene as the last days begin; and, this conflict will continue until the return of Messiah -- the Hebrew King of kings. Thirty years after the Balfour Declaration in November 1947 the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine laid the groundwork for the rebirth of the physical nation a few months later on May 14, 1948--the nation that will go into the labor pains of the last days.

Abraham's descendants -- the modern nation of Israel -- will also have to wait 100 full years for the promised birth pains to begin, but in God's time (and very soon now) the national sorrows will begin and will increase bringing about the miraculous birth of a spiritual nation. As already noted in Isaiah 66:7-8, we are told, “Before she goes into labor, she gives birth [again, to a physical nation; state of Israel--1948]; before the pains come upon her [of the last days], she delivers a son [Yeshua the Messiah; their Savior]. Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.”

The Kingdom Calendar shows the prophecies of the last days will begin with a Western/US confrontation with Iran, followed by a great shaking of Jerusalem at Purim -- March 2019, with destruction of the Western Wall, Temple Mount and Dome of the Rock.  This will infuriate Arabs and will bring the Israeli Palestinian conflict to a boiling point; then comes the birth pains and the three and one-half years of prophetic counting, and with it the greatest loss of human life and most heart-wrenching trouble ever experienced on Planet Earth. At the end of the three and one-half years of counting the timelines of Daniel and Revelation, as the culmination of all human governments and Satanic evil intensifies, the appointed times will be marching day by day (during the 40 days of Jacob's trouble) toward Armageddon in 2022.

The long period of 100 full years (November 2, 1017 to November 2, 2018) started with the Balfour Declaration (November 2, 1917) -- the conception of the modern state of Israel, which led 30 years later to the rebirth of Israel as a natural nation with the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine (November 1947 -- see this historical film U.N. Resolution 181, November 27-29, 1947).  Seventy (70) full years later brings us to the beginning of the end and the miraculous birth of a spiritual nation (the 144,000 of all twelve tribes) after we cross the threshold of the 100 complete years in November 2018.  These birth pains of war and natural disasters will usher in ruin to Israel and Jerusalem (along with all other nations of the world), which Jesus foretold would occur at the beginning of the end in Matthew 24:7-8.  Final events will begin at the completion of the 100th year after Israel’s conception through the Balfour Declaration (in other words, sometime between November 2, 2018 to November 2, 2019), just as Isaac was born to old parents beyond birthing years when Abraham was fully 100 years old (plus, 9 months in his mother's womb). This last generation of Jews called Messiah's "elect" chosen personally by Yeshua is clearly revealed in the prophecies of Isaiah 66:7-16, Matthew 24:6-8; 15-31, Romans 11:25-27 and Revelation 7:3-8; 14:1-3.

The New Jerusalem: Bride of Messiah & Mother of All

Luke 21 also speaks of Jesus’ discourse given to His disciples, forewarning of the birth pains and the future period of Jacob's trouble: “As for what you see here [Temple Mount], the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down [in a massive earthquake]... And, ”When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city [of Jerusalem] get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written," Luke 21:20-22. The destruction of today's natural-earthly Jerusalem (built of stones, dirt, concrete and wood), followed by the Kingdom Age and the New Jerusalem (built of jewels and gems) -- the spiritual-heavenly City foretold throughout the Hebrew prophecies, will be fulfilled according to the Scriptures.

The writer of the book of Hebrews connected both the birth of Isaac and the culmination of Abraham's faith -- his entrance into the New Jerusalem:  "By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the City with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered Him faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore. All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a Heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a City [New Jerusalem] for them," Hebrews 11:8-16.

We have this promise from Jesus -- Yeshua our Messiah, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place [the New Jerusalem] for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you [upward] to be with Me that you also may be where I am," (John 14:1-3) in the New Jerusalem!  The earthly city we know as Jerusalem -- due to its leaders' rejection of God’s last two witnesses; and, by joining the world in gloating in their demise; and, by defiling God’s chosen by leaving the two messengers to rot in the streets of Jerusalem (Revelation 11:7-10); and, by their adoration of Antichrist and allowing him entrance into Jerusalem and onto the Temple Mount -- will commit spiritual adultery. Rebellious Jerusalem is referred to in Revelation by derogatory terms such as “Sodom” and “Egypt” along with “Babylon, the Prostitute the “great city” in Revelation 17-18; and, the beloved city will die a fiery death.  In turn, immediately afterwards, as revealed in Revelation 19, the Holy City above -- the New Jerusalem (and her inhabitants) will replace the burned city in the wedding ceremony in Heaven.

It is written, “He has condemned the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her the blood of his servants [two witnesses].”

And again they shouted:

The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”

The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried:

“Amen, Hallelujah!”

Then a voice came from the throne, saying:

“Praise our God,
    all you his servants,
you who fear him,
    both great and small!”

Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:

For our Lord God Almighty reigns.

Let us rejoice and be glad
    and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
 Fine linen, bright and clean,
    was given her to wear.”

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

(Revelation 19:2-9)

Galatians 4:22-28 sums up the matter:  "It is written that Abraham had two sons, one [Ishmael] by the slave woman and the other [Isaac] by the free woman. His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise. These things are being taken figuratively: The women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. For it is written:

“Be glad, barren woman,
    you who never bore a child;
shout for joy and cry aloud,
    you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband.”

Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise."

Abraham waited 9 months in his mother's womb and 100 years after his own birth before the birth pains and miraculous birth of his son Isaac in his old age. With his beloved son birth the promised great nation of Israel came to fruition during Abraham's 101st year after his own conception. In our day the birth pains and miraculous birth of a spiritual nation will begin soon after 100 full years following the Balfour Declaration given on November 2, 1917 (during the 101st year from November 2018 to November 2019), after the conception of "a national homeland for the Jewish people". After the appointed times of The Kingdom Calendar and time of Jacob's trouble, the birth pains the great nation (144,000) will enter the beloved City -- the New Jerusalem, and into the safe arms of both mother and Father.

This event is then followed by a 1000-year delay in the judgment when resurrection will bring all mankind back to life to face the Great White Throne Judgment. The prophet John saw the Holy City descending towards a dark and desolate war-ravaged earth that had been without mankind, and without the sun and moon for a millennium.  “I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her Husband... One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb. And He carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God."

This, my friends, is the culmination of all the ancient Hebrew prophecies -- a life of freedom in a safe and secure City. The Scriptures declare "she is our mother," and the New Jerusalem (Bride-Mother) represents our home for eternity with the Bridegroom (Messiah-King) and our Heavenly Father (Ancient of Days). Although beloved for her history and connection to Jesus, today's city of Jerusalem ravaged by end-time war and destruction is not our home. The New Jerusalem is being prepared and is the hope of the redeemed, both for the Jews and the grafted-in Gentiles alike. Without the three miraculous births -- the birth of Isaac and nation of Israel centuries ago, the birth of the Hebrew Bridegroom/King—Yeshua to a young virgin, and the rebirth of the great nation of Israel in the last century, we would all be without hope in this dark and dangerous world; but, because of the Light of the World -- that great Light that will shine from the New Jerusalem, we have the blessed hope of a eternal home prepared for the twelve tribes of Israel and great multitude of Gentiles.

The Significance of the Biblical & Modern Timelines & Modern Timelines

120 Full Years

From August 1897 -- the First Zionist Congress (the establishment of the Zionist Organization in Basel Switzerland organized by Theodore Hertz), with the vision "to establish a home for the Jewish people in Palestine secured under public law") -- and 120 full years later to August 2018, we find ourselves at the beginning of Israel's birth pains sometime during the 121st year (August 2018 to August 2019). This harks back to the 120 years Noah prepared the ark before the floods came and with it global destruction. This was a divinely appointed time of waiting. After God saw how sinful and dedicated to evil man had become after the garden of Eden, he determined a one hundred and twenty year period would be given for warning and repentance after which a flood of destruction would follow that took mankind to the brink of extinction (Genesis 6:1-3). After Jesus' resurrection and ascension to heaven, 120 disciples that were gathered in Jerusalem chose a successor to Judas Iscariot (who committed suicide) to be among the special eleven disciples who were witnesses of Christ's entire ministry (Acts 1:14 - 26).

100 Full Years

From November 1917 -- the Balfour Declaration (conception of the nation of Israel) -- and 100 full years later to November 2018, we find ourselves at the beginning of Israel's birth pains and the counting periods of Daniel and Revelation sometime during the 101st year (November 2018 to November 2019). This harks back to the 100 years Abraham and Sarah waited for the birth of Isaac and with him the promised twelve tribes of the nation of Israelites. The number 100 is used 95 times in the Bible.

70 Full Years

From November 1947 -- the UN Vote of Partition (birth of the natural nation) -- and 70 full years later to November 2018, we find ourselves at the beginning of Israel's birth pains sometime during the 71st year (November 2018 to November 2019). This harkens to the seventy (70) elders were appointed by Moses (Numbers 11:16). After reading the covenant God gave him to read to the people, Moses took 70 elders, along with Aaron and his sons, up Mount Sinai to have a special meal with God himself (Exodus 24:9-11). Ancient Israel spent a total number of 70 years in captivity in Babylon (Jeremiah 29:10). Seventy is also specially connected with Jerusalem. The city kept 70 years of Sabbaths while Judah was in Babylonian captivity (Jeremiah 25:11). Seventy sevens (490 years) were determined upon Jerusalem for it to complete its transgressions, to make an end for sins and for everlasting righteousness to enter into it (Daniel 9:24).

50 Full Years

From June 1967 -- Six-Day War (recapture of Jerusalem's Western Wall and Temple Mount) to June 2018 = 50 Full Years. The 51st year (June 2018 to June 2019) will usher in the "unwalled villages" (Ezekiel 38:11) of Israel after a massive earthquake takes down the cities' walls and religious structures in Jerusalem, the appointed times of the end and the birth pains of the prophecies, that will lead to the rebuilding of the 3rd Temple and Antichrist's abominable act in Jerusalem.  Fifty can be found 154 times in the Bible, and is mostly connected to the Festival omer counting days between Passover and Pentecost (Shavuot) that leads to the revelation of the Ten Commandments at Mt. Sinai and the outpouring of God's Spirit after Messiah's death. Fifty also symbolizes deliverance or freedom from a burden. God commanded ancient Israel that every 50th year, on the Day of Atonement, that a Jubilee was to be declared with the sound of a trumpet (Leviticus 25). During the Jubilee year ALL debts were settled in favor of the debtor and inheritances were returned to their rightful owners. Also, those who worked as slave laborers in order to repay a debt were granted their freedom to return home to their families and land.

70 Full Weeks (490 Days)

From June 2021 to October 2022 (The Kingdom Calendar: Pts 13 & 18) is Israel's 70 Weeks foretold in Daniel 9:24-27--"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city [Jerusalem], to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy," and with it the announcement for the restoration of the ruined and war-torn Jerusalem (vs. 25), but with the City's ultimate and final demise (vs. 26). At the end of 70 full weeks (490 days), we will find ourselves at the Time of Jacob's Trouble in the 71st week, and with it the birth of a great spiritual nation! This harkens back to Messiah's prophetic comment about how many times we are to forgive one another (7X70; 490 times; Matthew 18:21-22), which represents how many days in a row Messiah will forgive the nation of Israel for their misdeeds during the last days as they rebuild the city in preparation for the 3rd Temple and Antichrist's approved entrance onto the Temple Mount.
